Keys To Queens: Astoria
What this Tour is
A guided, multi-transit experience connecting guests from familiar Manhattan to less-traveled Queens. By moving by ferry, bus, and foot, guests gain practical city tools they can use long after the tour ends. This experience reveals how New York actually works - how it moves, connects, and lives day to day.
Astoria, Queens is purposely selected because the journey to it includes water and skyline. Mural art, photo ops, and the locals tell the full story upon arrival.
The journey
🚢 The Ride Over
We begin in Manhattan at the East 34th Street Ferry Landing, boarding the NYC Ferry and traveling three stops, a simple and practical ride that reframes how guests think about crossing boroughs.
🛑 Stop 1: Welling Court Murals
20 minutes
We kick things off surrounded by large-scale public art, bold, current, and ever-changing. This is modern Queens: global voices, local expression, and creativity on full display.
🎹 Drive Through: Steinway Village
From the bus, dust off your piano keys as we pass through the historic company town built by Steinway & Sons.
🛑 Stop 3: Ditmars Boulevard
45 min - 1 hr
One of Astoria’s most vibrant streets, unmistakably local and unmistakably New York. Guests have time to explore, eat, shop, and experience Queens at street level.
🚕 Final Drop Off
Steinway & Sons — minutes from Midtown’s Bryant Park.
