Central Park
What this Tour is
This experience is designed for guests who want to see Central Park corner to corner. We combine short rides and meaningful walks to special stops, allowing you to experience the park’s beauty, history, neighborhoods, and evolution without exhaustion.
This is not a speed tour.
This is not a long hike.
This is Central Park, seen as a whole.
The journey
We begin on the west side of the park, traveling north and following Central Park’s rectangular shape, bumping into the neighborhoods that watch over it and shape its story.
🛑 Stop 1: Strawberry Fields → Bethesda Terrace & The Mall
45 minutes
A peaceful start where music, memory, and design meet. We walk together from Strawberry Fields to Bethesda Terrace and The Mall, then return near Central Park West around 72nd Street.
Total walking distance (round trip): approx. 1.1–1.3 miles
Assumes a steady but comfortable pace.
🛑 Stop 2: Grand Bazaar NYC (Sundays only)
1 hour
A true neighborhood experience near 77th Street and Columbus Avenue. Grand Bazaar NYC is one of the city’s oldest flea markets, featuring local vendors offering art, vintage finds, jewelry, and food. This stop supports small businesses and sits just steps from Shake Shack, bagel shops, and classic Upper West Side brownstones.
🚌 Rolling North: Seneca Village → Great Lawn → Reservoir → 110th St
Harlem, turning east to Fifth Avenue.
🛑 Stop 3: Conservatory Garden
30 minutes
We hop off at Fifth Avenue to explore three distinct garden styles (French, Italian, English) offering a quiet, elegant pause inside the city.
🚕 Final Stretch: Fifth Avenue → 59th Street
We head south along Museum Mile and Fifth Avenue, ending near the southern edge of Central Park for one final New York moment.
Why Central Park?
Central Park is the city’s greatest teacher, an open-air classroom under the trees. Since its opening day, it has held stories of privilege and exclusion, design and rebellion, quiet beauty and loud change. From Strawberry Fields to Seneca Village, from neighborhood markets to formal gardens, the park shows how many things can coexist at once.
By the end of this tour, guests don’t just recognize Central Park, they understand it and the city that surrounds it.
